Mature Student
Alexandra is a fantastic piano teacher and a really lovely person. My Dad is 78 years old. He really loves his keyboard lessons each week as a wonderful respite from being a full time carer for my mum. A carer comes to sit with my mum. It really has helped broaden his life and is the highlight of his week.
Alexandra even picks him up and drops him off for a little extra, since she realises otherwise it would be too time consuming for him to make his way there and it wouldn't be feasible. For Dad the key point of the lessons was fun and respite but Alexandra is such a good teacher that she has taught him to read music and to play with both hands.
She is the perfect balance between being fun and a lovely friend to him but even with his advanced age being able to improve his playing. We really do count ourselves incredibly fortunate to have met such a wonderful teacher. I have no reservations in recommending her for teaching all ages. :-)

We are new to the area and I was very glad to find Alexandra to teach my kids piano. We used to have another teacher before, but the kids are much more interested in Alexandra's lessons. They practice their home work by themselves, show interest in learning piano and music and participated in their first recital this year!
Alexandra finds music my kids like, so they are engaged and learn with pleasure. I am very happy with this, as I believe that learning the piano develops the learning capacity of a child. I would recommend Alexandra as a teacher to anyone. FK |

We are very happy with Alexandra and her methods of teaching! We take 2 lessons a week and our daughter is very happy to play piano and sing songs at the same time. Alexandra also start to teach her some French songs and we glad that our daughter will learn some words in French in a very entertaining manner. We would recommend Alexandra as a teacher for kids and adults. K.T.

My son asked us if he could take piano lessons and because we are very busy, we didn't know how to organize it around our schedules. We were very happy to find out that our neighbor Alexandra is doing piano lessons. Since we have child care business we also asked her to teach very small kids to play the piano as well (they are 4 years old), so she was doing 2 lessons - one for a group of small kids and another one for our son who is 10 y.o. Both of these lessons have gone very well. The young kids enjoy the lessons a lot and start teaching other kids in our care how to play some songs. Alexandra uses the functions of keyboard to make the lessons and performances more fun and enjoyable and it has certainly helped build the kid's confidence.
Our older son, Stephen, practices every day and was very excited to participate in the Spring recital (April 2011). He just took less than 10 lessons and already was playing with both hands and is making superb progress. We are very happy to find right teacher for the kids as she has a good approach for them, so they keep enjoying music and performing. Since Alexandra is coming to our house for lessons also making our life much easier , because we run our business from home. We glad we find a good match and would recommend to everyone to use Alexandra for piano lesson. Michelle & Larry |

Alexandra started teaching my son Lucas recently, but I am amazed by the progress my son has made. He is only 5 years old and is already enjoying playing piano.
Also, I like that Alexandra is happy to come to our house for the lesson, as I have others kids in a house and it is not easy for me to travel around with all of them. She makes lessons for my son fun and enjoyable and I am very happy that he is committed to learn new things especially at such young age. Alexsis |

Alexandra teaches my both daughters, they are 4 and 7 years old. She adjusts lessons to fit both of their needs, and they both participate, learn and have fun in the same time. I am glad that they do homework for lessons and look forward to the new lesson each time.
I am also very happy that Alexandra comes to do lessons in our house on weekends as it makes it very easy to manage for us. I would advise anyone to have Alexandra as piano teacher for their kids. Anu |

My daughter and I started piano lessons with Alexandra almost 1 1/2 years ago. We had never played piano before and got a keyboard for Christmas with the intention of taking lessons. I had always wanted to learn how to play the piano and my daughter showed an interest in it as well. It really helps that we are able to take it together. It really keeps us motivated. Both of us always enjoy our lessons.
Alexandra manages to make it fun and interesting for both of us to learn at the same time. I also find that these lessons indirectly help my daughter to perform better in school (math, science and other subjects). Also, she likes to create her own songs and often plays them at home without me asking her to do this.
